Being responsible for 100% of your Life.
Posted on April 20th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: My Life and Here's Why...
I was recently struck in the head with a renewed sense of awareness and focus, of the fact that I am responsible for everything in my Life.
The truth is that nobody forces you to think, feel, or behave a certain way. While you may not be accepted by society or even punished if you don't follow certain rules, still nobody else can "make" you do or feel anything. You are not a victim to people or circumstances. This is not to say that you can control all situations, undoubtedly you cannot. But you alone are responsible for your thoughts, emotions, and actions in relation to that situation.
Do you really want to spend your life letting other people decide how you feel? Use your own mind; make your own decisions. Be responsible for your own life.
You must stop blaming someone else for your problems...take responsibility of your own actions.
Taking responsibility for choices, actions, and direction is so powerfully important. Without taking responsibility, you'll likely look at your life as a failure. People who take complete responsibility for their lives experience joy and in-control of their circumstances.
Three Steps on How to Take Responsibility for Your Own Life
The most important aspect of taking responsibility for your life is acknowledging that your life is your responsibility. No one but YOU can Live your LIFE. You are in charge. No matter how hard you try to blame others for the events of your life, each event is the result of the choices you have made and are making. Listen to the little voice in your head. Do you hear yourself taking responsibility or placing blame?
-
Listen to the voice in your head. Eliminate blame; eliminate excuses. Stop shifting responsibility for your decisions to other.
-
Listen to yourself when you speck. In your conversation, do you hear yourself blame others for things that dont' go exactly as you want? Do you find yourself pointing fingers at your coworkers or the way you were brought up, your parents' influence, the amount of money you make, or your spouse? Are you making excuses for goals that you have not achieved or deadlines that you've missed? Stop blaming others.
-
If you receive constructive criticism from someone you respect, that you make excuses and blame others for your actions or the outcome, take the criticism seriously. Control your defensive reaction and deepen your understanding with the respected individual.
Remember, you control your actions, so therefore you can change the outcome.
Stop looking for it to change, and remember in order for it to change you must change it. It’s not it or them it’s you! If you do not like something or the outcome of your situation; do something about it….change it!
If you don’t like where you live do something about it! If you don’t like where you work do something about it. If you don’t like the number in your savings account do something about it, don’t just blame someone or something. Anything that you don’t like you have the power to take responsibility for changing it.
Several years ago, I found myself in this situation…I didn’t like working long hours for someone else, while someone else was raising my children. So I did something about it. I had a choice to change my situation...I choose to work from home so that I could raise my own children. I am in control of my Life, I took 100% responsibility for my life. You can to, it’s your choice.

Seven Simple Steps to Achieving Your Goals

There are seven simple steps you can follow to help you set and achieve your goals.
-
Clarify exactly what you want.Be specific. If you want to increase your income decide upon a specific amount rather that just “make more money”.
- Write it down. A goal that is not in writing is like smoke; it drifts away and disappears. It has no force, effect or power. Write it down and keep it in sight. Written goals become something that you can touch, read and modify if necessary, as situations change.
-
Set a deadline for your goal. Pick a reasonable time period and write down the pace upon which you want to achieve it. If it’s a big goal, set a final deadline and then set up sub-deadlines or interim steps between where you are today and where you want to be in the future.
A deadline serves as a forcing system. It’s a known fact, when you’re under pressure you get more done. Your subconscious mind works faster and more efficiently when you have clarified your goal and set a clear realistic deadline.
“There no unrealistic goals; there are only unrealistic deadlines.”
- Make a list of Everythingyou can think of that you could possibly do to achieve your goal.
“The Biggest goal can be accomplished if you break it down into enough small steps.” ~Henry Ford
-Make a list of obstacles and difficulties you have to overcome, both external and internal to achieve your goal.
-Make a list of additional knowledge or skills you will require to achieve your goal. If you need to learn how to blog, start searching and reading all you can find on “How to Blog”.
-Make a list of people whose cooperation and support you will require to achieve your goal. Will you need uninterrupted time from your spouse or kids so that you can focus on achieving your goals, then set a time for your uninterrupted time, it will help to be the same time every day.
-Make a list of every thing that you have to do, and add to this list as new tasks and responsibilities occur.
“The most common reason that people fail to achieve their goals is because they do not make new plans to replace old ones when the situation changes.” ~Napoleon Hill
- Organize the list by sequence and priorities. Determine what you need to do first and put them in sequence, first through last. Next determine what is priority, sometimes sequence and priority are the same, but often not.
- Take Action Immediately. The difference between winners and losers in life is simply that winners take the first step. They are action-oriented. They are willing to take action without a guarantee of success.
- Do Something Every Day. You must do something every day that moves you in the direction of your major goal. This is the key behavior that will guarantee your success. This will develop momentum, doing something every day.
Doing something every day will help you develop the discipline of setting and achieving your goals.
Action Step:
Take a clean sheet of paper, at the top write the word “Goals” and today’s date.
Write down ten goals. They can be financial goals, family goals, fitness goals, personal possessions goals (car, new home, swimming pool, etc.).
Now choose which goal would have the most change or will improve your life more than anything else. Whichever one you choose, put a circle around it and write it at the top of a clean sheet of paper. This goal becomes your focal point of your future activities.
From this point forward, “Failure is not an option”.
This decision alone can change your life.
Stay focused on achieving your goals and I’ll see you at the top!

Momentum is the Key to Your Success!
It's true that consistent activity will develop momentum. But be sure your activity is focused in a positive direction, because you can actually build positive or negative momentum based on your activity. Get busy, this will create the kind of energizing momentum that will build your business. Get distracted by people who don't believe in your dream, and you may suffer from negative momentum... and time is too short for that.
I can help you believe in, create and realize your personal dream...all through a constant plan of action that becomes the new way you approach your future. Be positive and consistent as you share your dream, and you'll create enormous momentum.

One must change their thoughts to have a better life. I found this list and as #38 says "Share with someone", I decided that I would add this to my blog. These tips have really helped me put things into prospective - I hope they will help you too!
You can simply start implementing several of them a day; make a point to read over them ofter, they will become habit - and you my friend will be on your road to a much Better Life!

smile. - Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
- Sleep for 7 hours.
- Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
- Play more games.
- Read more books than you did the previous year.
- Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
- Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of six.
- Dream more while you are awake.
- Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Try to make at least three people smile each day.
- Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
- Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
- Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
- Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
- Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
- Smile and laugh more.
- Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
- Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
- You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
- Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
- Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Don't compare your partner with others.
- No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
- Forgive everyone for everything.
- What other people think of you is none of your business.
- However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
- Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
- Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
- Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
- The best is yet to come.
- No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
- Do the right thing!
- Call your family often.
- Your inner most is always happy. So be happy.
- Each day give something good to others.
- Don't over do. Keep your limits.

You Reap What You Sow!
How many times have you sow another seed that has the opportunity to bear great fruit? The more seeds that you sow the more likelihood you will reach your goal.
So plant well and plant often, because you can't control the decisions that people are going to make or the timetables they'll make them on. What you CAN control are your efforts to make sure they here your opportunity. You can always do more than you think you can, so don't be afraid to push yourself to sow more seeds and reach a new milestone toward your goals.

How To Bring Consistent Monthly Revenue
Starting your own business can be tough. You need to market and know where to market your site. There are alot of preparation to go into business for yourself.
How Money Is Actually Made:
You need to....
1) Get More People
2) Get More Money
3) Sell More Often
To get more people you need to get leads and then convert them into sales, right? In order to get leads you need traffic.
The big "Gurus" who are making alot of money online always say "The Money Is In The list", they are absolutely right.
Your list can be your very own GOLDMINE because you have people who gave you their name and address because they are atleast curious about what you have to offer. This can be a very big ADVANTAGE for you.
So now you have the list and you can email them and tell them about all the advantages of your products and/or services.
If you can convince them that you have the best product and/or service, you now have a relationship. These relationships are important because they could potentially bring you more customers through referral and OFTEN times become a repeat customer.
We definetly need to take care of our customers and deliver on everything we PROMISE. This is a very important step in building a business and gaining the respect of our customers and future potential customers.
This will reduce the risk of customer returns. If your customer returns your product, how likely would it be that they return or even refer you to other people especially if you make it real difficult for them to return their item(s)
Through studies we have found that it takes about 7-10 emails before someone responds, so we have to be patient with our prospective customers and only send about 1 email every week or two. This is not true for all of them, but it's very important to build trust and by about the 7th email, they start to feel like they know you.
This is actually what the "Top Dogs" online are doing
An average 20% of Back-End Buyers also buy on the Up-Sale
With any great website shouldn't you get a bonus or freebie, I Think So!!!
You should always have something on your site that has real value to give away. This is very important for your customers to know they are getting what they paid for and then some. It's WIN-WIN, you have something they need and they walk away with the PRIZE.
Here's My Point:
So what if there was a website where you can find out how to help you achieve all these things. Marketing and Making Money taken to a whole new level.
We are ready to help you achieve the level of success that we know you can achieve. This System has been tested and proven to be the best system on the internet.

I share love. Yesterday I met a man who shared my former banking background. He inherited money so money is no longer an issue for him.
This man was a former prostitute. Yes, you read correct.
I shared love and my past as I saw into the man as just a man who is trying to do what it takes to get through this life.
For those who have it more together, I have decided to spend the rest of my life sharing different ideas for income creation in a less traditional way.
Share love and enjoy life every day.

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers out there. I enjoyed reading this short story by one of my favorite motivation speakers "Jim Rohn". I hope you enjoy it too.
"Invest in your family and they'll invest in you. Inspire them and they'll inspire you. With your inner circle take care of the details. When my father was still alive, I used to call him when I traveled. He'd have breakfast most every morning with the farmers. Little place called The Decoy Inn out in the country where we lived in Southwest Idaho. So Papa would go there and have breakfast and I'd call him just to give him a special day. Now if I was in Israel, I'd have to get up in the middle of the night, but it only took five minutes, ten minutes. So I'd call Papa and they'd bring him the phone. I'd say, 'Papa I'm in Israel.' He'd say, 'Israel! Son, how are things in Israel?' He'd talk real loud so everybody could hear - my son's calling me from Israel. I'd say, 'Papa last night they gave me a reception on the rooftop underneath the stars overlooking the Mediterranean.' He'd say, 'Son, a reception on the rooftop underneath the stars overlooking the Mediterranean.' Now everybody knows the story. It only took 5 - 10 minutes, but what a special day for my father, age 93." -- Jim Rohn

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.
All disciplines affect each other. Mistakenly the man says, "This is the only area where I let down." Not true. Every let down affects the rest. Not to think so is naive.
Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built. Lack of discipline inevitably leads to failure.
Discipline has within it the potential for creating future miracles.
The best time to set up a new discipline is when the idea is strong.
One discipline always leads to another discipline.
Affirmation without discipline is the beginning of delusion.
You don't have to change that much for it to make a great deal of difference. A few simple disciplines can have a major impact on how your life works out in the next 90 days, let alone in the next 12 months or the next 3 years.
The least lack of discipline starts to erode our self-esteem.

Happy Father's Day: Keep Your Personal & Professional Life in Balance

Here's a great reminder, in the days leading up to Father's Day, of where our priorities should be. It's by noted personal achievement expert and my friend, Denis Waitley. Enjoy!
Be Committed to Keeping Your Personal and Professional Life in Balance by Denis Waitley
It is so important to be living in prime time, rather than watching TV in prime time. On your way to success make certain you grow friendships, not just bank and mutual fund accounts. Life is a collection of memories, not of material things. The Egyptian pharaohs were buried with all their treasures, and were mummified in hopes that they could enjoy their bounty in the next life. But we are only caretakers of possessions. There is a big difference between standard of living and quality of life. Standard of living is based on income earned. Quality of life is the enjoyment of the millions of minutes in between accomplishments.
Having money is only one aspect of wealth. To the sick person, wealth is health. To the lonely person, wealth is someone to talk to and share with. To the estranged person, wealth is hearing words of love and forgiveness.
Borrowing the free verse style from Brother Jeremiah’s classic poem, I’d Pick More Daisies, here are a few things I’d do, the second time around.
I’d laugh at my misfortunes more. Spend more time counting my blessings than my blemishes. Spend more time playing with my children and grandchildren and less time watching performers in the arena. More time enjoying what I have, less time thinking about the things I don’t have. If I could live my life again, I’d walk in the rain more without an umbrella and listen less to weather reports. I’d spend more time looking at trees and climbing them, less time flipping through magazines made from dead trees. I’d spend more time fully involved in the present moment, less time remembering and anticipating. I’d smile more, frown less.
And most of all I’d be more spontaneous and active, less hesitant and subdued. When some spur of the moment idea came up to go hiking, playing Frisbee, coloring Easter eggs, singing in a chorus, going kayaking, or watching an eclipse, I’d be less likely to sit in my chair objecting, “It’s not in our plan.”
I’d be inclined to jump up and run out the door next time and say, “Yes, we can!” Although I can’t live my life again, I’m still going to live the new way every day any way. I’ll never have all the moments I’ve missed, but I do have all the time remaining.
Action Idea – Choose one activity this month that you really want to engage in, but that you have been putting off because it isn’t a priority. Schedule that activity in your planner, as if it were a “must do” business or financial commitment. When you have done it, while you are still feeling good, schedule one for next month, and do it as long as you live.

I started in network marketing back in 2007. I spend one year working a system where all you had to do was market to drive traffic to your web page. This proved not to be as easy as it sounded and the system has a few flaws that made sales of the product sold not quite so easy. After one year on this system I followed my heart and left the marketing tool behind and decided to give sales on my own a try.
I will admit I am not a sales person and though I refused to make phone calls I still managed to make as many sales in 2 months as I did on the previous system I was using to market for the last year. Though I was starting to gain momentum I knew in my heart I would be out of business soon unless I found another marketing tool to help make a significant amount of sales in a shorter time frame.
I followed my heart and prayed for an answer. Then one day last month I got an email from a friend who was associated with the old marketing system I was using. I trusted this person as well as knew God was trying to show me a path to follow. I did what it took to get started with this marketing system even though it was still in prelaunch stage. Now I am part of a system that allows me to market my previous product as well as more products at a wider range of pricing.
I share this information as a way to show others that you do not have to live your life going to a job each day. As a former banker who knew I deserved more, I now live a life where I can spend as much or as little time I want working my business. I have many networking sites and I open my heart to anyone who wants to know more about who I am and how I live life. I am a man who helps others in order to help make this world a better place.
I invite you to get to know me as well as learn what I am about . Take the time to look into who I am as well as the product you may see associated with my webpages. I have a mission to make this world a better place. I work as this mission one person at a time. I try to have a positive affect on every person who comes into my life and do something to show love as well as share ideas how to make live more enjoyable.
I am honored and blessed to be part of the team who put this system together that I use to market. This system simply gives me the means to live the lifestyle that I have grown accustomed to living. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
May God guide you in all you do. Prayer is the pause that empowers.

Take this system serious and learn how the top internet money makers earn their money.
Whether you have failed at making money online or you are simply looking for a way to make an honest income from the internet this information is worth the time to check out.
As a former banker who went through a buyout I knew I deserved more from life. I spend over a year using a marketing system that was simply not giving me the results I needed. I have the mindset and the drive but I was being led down the wrong path. Now I learned from some people that I trust how to take my time and energy and use it more effectly to make the money I desire to have an honest and ethical home business that produces results.
I share this information as a way to help others succeed in these difficult times.

Fine work until the day you die!

I got a brother who just told me a month ago he will have to work until the day he dies. He is a banker and his wife is a teacher. How sad that they will both have to work until the day of their deaths. No retirement is something that I would not accept in my life. My brother still thinks I am nuts for my sticking it out in in my online business.
Its simply I refuse to let society and government tell me that I am going to have to work my fanny off and lost it all to downsizing, not retire or end up sick like my Dad and not be able to enjoy retirement.
Think twice about society and government and think about the life you know you deserve. Take the time to do what it takes to give yourself the life you know you deserve. I work as much or as little as I want each day. I took a day off last week and shared that information with a waitress at a resturant. You know the look she gave me was like HUH! I simply told her this is how I WANT MY LIFE and she replied "must be nice". I did give her a nice tip. The real tip was the idea I was trying to get into her head but she never did get it.
I help people in my business. I help share ideas. If I can help just one person today to realize that they do not have to go punch a clock or listen to their self serving boss enother day, then I am doing my part to help. There are a lot of people who are not making it with a normal job. Even two jobs. Time to wake up to the new way of living and start living each day for yourself and the ones you love.
No matter what your values and what your beliefs we all need to take the time to enjoy life to the fullest. This is what life is supposed to be all about.
Enjoy life every day.

Demise of The American Dream?

Some may think that The American Dream is gone. I have been part of discussions on this very subject and I actually agreed that the dream is no longer within reach.
Then I laid in bed this morning and I had to correct my own thinking. Yes, with the demise of GM, Chrysler, and other big names in addition to corporate takeovers and downsizing it is getting pretty rough to go out and find a job. I am a personal witness to having my job cut as well as seeing first hand how friends around this country have lost jobs, lost homes as well as have to struggle for food.
Lets take a look at our basic freedom as Americans. We have the right to start a business and we don't even have to go get permission first. That said, once you get the right mindset and plan of action there is no real excuse for not being able to live The American Dream. I just happen to be building a business and the only tools I use are a $300.00 computer and a business plan I found online.
Sometimes you have to rely on faith to get past a bad situation and I am no exception. I lost a nice paying job that I had for 18 years. I lost a home I purchased for cash because the cost of the homeowners insurance got out of hand in relation to my debt ratio. I have had the cars and the toys. I have seen my father who is a retired bank president loose all his savings because of the recent drop of the stock market due to the financial industries mismanagement.
You can take a bow and live a lower level of life and adjust or rise above it and do something to start reliving The American Dream. I was doing the latter and I never really even took the time to acknowledge what I was doing. I was fighting to run a successfull small business with a mindset this is so hard to make work. Until this morning when i realized that I have more then what so many people do not have in this country. I have the security of a job where I am in control and I have no one but myself to blame if I end up without a job.
Take the time to look at who you are and why you are in this world. Look at your future and see how bright it looks. If you do not like what you see then its time to make a change and do what it takes to provide for yourself and those you love. I am part of a group of people who are in the business of sharing ideas. These ideas are to help others succeed. I invite you to look at this system and be part of this group who has not only helped me on a personal level of success, but also on a level of thinking as those who succeed think.
May God bless you in all you do. Now go live The American Dream.

How did the wealthy people become wealthy? I’m sure that some probably had money handed down to them through their families or were bred for a great career in the family business. Still there are many “entrepreneurs” that had an idea, a vision that there was a product or service that had not yet been offered or developed. They then had to take a chance and a risk, they had to invest time, money and energy into that product or service’s birth without the guarantee that success would be the end result. They truly had a lot at stake and I’m sure that many of them put everything they had on the line for what they believed in. I’m sure that they did not all succeed on the first try, it probably took several failures or they overcame some problems along the way, but they kept getting back up and trying again because they truly believed in their idea. I believe that the wealthy people deserve to be wealthy for that reason. They did not give up when times became difficult, they forged ahead with the same drive and desire they had when they started, when it was just an idea. What are you going to do? How will you make it happen?
Recently, we were driving through a suburb of Des Moines during rush hour. Des Moines is not a big city compared to many, but while we were driving down the interstate I noticed all of the traffic that was backed up, extending to the interstate. I noticed the many people just sitting there and I thought about many things. How much money was being spent at that very moment? There were probably several hundred cars in my field of vision going in all different directions. All of those vehicles had or needed probably $20-$40 worth of gas, many probably needed some sort of repair or service done to them (oil changes, tires etc.) and many of those people were probably going to be spending money later that evening at ball games, restaurants, shopping and other goods and services. I thought about all of the items in those vehicles, the cell phones, CD’s, DVD’s, soda’s, coffees, GPS systems, emergency items and the other things that we all have in our vehicles. Then I thought about them eventually getting home, to all of the goods that they possess and the services that they purchase to live in today’s society (The point to all this, and YES, I do have one, will be explained in further detail in my next blog). At that moment, I realized how much money really is involved in our economy and that life is going to go on whether we can afford it or not. So, what are you going to do? How will you make it happen?
Think about these same thoughts where you live. Think about all of the individuals and families in your town or city and what products and services are purchased and used on a daily basis. Every home, every vehicle, every person contributes to the economy in some way. Some contribute in very big ways and others contribute in smaller ways, but they all contribute. Many people and businesses are profiting off of what these individuals and families spend, whether it’s on groceries, gas, car payments, car insurance, CD’s, DVD’s and the list goes on and on. Think about your own contributions to the economy. You probably have a house payment or rent, possibly a vehicle payment(s) and the expenses that go with that including insurance, maintenance, fuel and other services, food for yourself and your family, the satellite or cable TV, electric, water, credit cards, the list seems endless! You already contribute to the economy more than you may realize. Now think about how you can make that economy work for you and help you enjoy life even more than you already are!
It really is a great big world out there! There is a lot of money available to earn! What is it that you want? I read once that you bring about what you think about. If you are struggling financially, you probably think about that constantly and, you guessed it, you bring about further financial struggles. Are you tired of that struggle?
What are you going to do? How are you going to make it happen? If you are tired of thinking about your financial struggles and you are ready to take action, either enter your basic information for the free offer that is included on this page or click on the banner ad below. Do you want to work.......Or not?

Business is GREAT and it just got even better!!! An amazing new income stream has just been built into an already incredible, multiple income stream home based business!!! It's no secret that the key to home based businesses is advertising. That is an expense that prevents many people from getting involved in a home based business and/or prevents them from being successful in a home based business. What if you actually profited off of your advertising? Really!!! I'm not talking about selling advertising or even being an affilliate. I'm talking about being paid commissions for your advertising through your own home based business!! It is truly very simple and you will receive twice as much in commission for your money spent on advertising!!! The secret is in the leverage!! The Infinite Leverage System is honestly providing as much leverage as is possible to not only help you to succeed, but also to help you profit at an accellerated pace.
The "hive" is brand new to internet marketing!! In the Infinite Leverage System, the hive is the SECOND income stream that will bring you $1,000 profits!!! Yes, this is another income stream, within ILS, that will bring you $1,000 per sale!! That is in addition to the other income streams that will bring you $250, $50, and $10 per sale!!! In addition, the $50 is residual!!! That's right, you will receive that $50 every month!!! With Infinite Leverage, you will have many avenues of income at varying price levels (to reach people at any and all incomes) with 2 $1,000 commission products!!!
Home based businesses are very popular right now and I am fully aware that some people are reserved and skeptical of the industry. Having said that, I am also aware of the income that can be provided by home based businesses and the tax breaks that are utilized. Do you want results that are different than the results that you are currently experiencing? Do you want to change your lifestyle? If the answer to one or both of those questions is yes, then you will have to do something different to receive different results. Action is the key. If you currently have a business or an income producing avenue, it will not make you anything unless you take action. That's an elementary fact!! If you do not currently have a business or income producing avenue but you have a desire to change your lifestyle and you want to take action, sign up now for our free offer and see what a difference the Infinite Levergage system and the "hive" can make for you!!!
What are you going to do? How are you going to make it happen? There are possibilities out there and this one is right in front of you, sign up now and make it happen!!!
