Well, after a wonderful day of wondering if my laptop was going to be able to handle its first cup of coffee, I was amazed that it only took 24 hours for the effects of the coffee on the laptop to sub side.
Let me explain what happened.
My family has a routine every morning when my little boy, JC, wakes up from his sleep to watch a mind movie that we have created. A mind movie is a visual movie, like a vision board, to help keep you focused on your end results.
Well yesterday morning, I could not say no to my boy as he repeatedly kept saying, MY MIND MOVIE, which means play it again daddy :-)
On the 4th play, he spots my cup of coffee near by, I was not aware that he was eyeing the coffee and not the movie. Well, you know what happened next, like a bolt of lightening, he grabbed for it, got it, and pulled it to him (over the laptop) needless to say, he was talented enough to grab and pour in one motion, right on the keys and heart of the laptop-the famous blue screen instantly appeared, so I was on vacation yesterday looking for a laptop :-)
I sleep with a fan (white noise) so I decided to place the coffee drinking laptop in front of the fan all night and presto like magic, it is working this morning ;-)
Thank goodness as I have a ton of work on this unit. Any way, junior is waking up, until later.

Being responsible for 100% of your Life.
Posted on April 20th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: My Life and Here's Why...
I was recently struck in the head with a renewed sense of awareness and focus, of the fact that I am responsible for everything in my Life.
The truth is that nobody forces you to think, feel, or behave a certain way. While you may not be accepted by society or even punished if you don't follow certain rules, still nobody else can "make" you do or feel anything. You are not a victim to people or circumstances. This is not to say that you can control all situations, undoubtedly you cannot. But you alone are responsible for your thoughts, emotions, and actions in relation to that situation.
Do you really want to spend your life letting other people decide how you feel? Use your own mind; make your own decisions. Be responsible for your own life.
You must stop blaming someone else for your problems...take responsibility of your own actions.
Taking responsibility for choices, actions, and direction is so powerfully important. Without taking responsibility, you'll likely look at your life as a failure. People who take complete responsibility for their lives experience joy and in-control of their circumstances.
Three Steps on How to Take Responsibility for Your Own Life
The most important aspect of taking responsibility for your life is acknowledging that your life is your responsibility. No one but YOU can Live your LIFE. You are in charge. No matter how hard you try to blame others for the events of your life, each event is the result of the choices you have made and are making. Listen to the little voice in your head. Do you hear yourself taking responsibility or placing blame?
-
Listen to the voice in your head. Eliminate blame; eliminate excuses. Stop shifting responsibility for your decisions to other.
-
Listen to yourself when you speck. In your conversation, do you hear yourself blame others for things that dont' go exactly as you want? Do you find yourself pointing fingers at your coworkers or the way you were brought up, your parents' influence, the amount of money you make, or your spouse? Are you making excuses for goals that you have not achieved or deadlines that you've missed? Stop blaming others.
-
If you receive constructive criticism from someone you respect, that you make excuses and blame others for your actions or the outcome, take the criticism seriously. Control your defensive reaction and deepen your understanding with the respected individual.
Remember, you control your actions, so therefore you can change the outcome.
Stop looking for it to change, and remember in order for it to change you must change it. It’s not it or them it’s you! If you do not like something or the outcome of your situation; do something about it….change it!
If you don’t like where you live do something about it! If you don’t like where you work do something about it. If you don’t like the number in your savings account do something about it, don’t just blame someone or something. Anything that you don’t like you have the power to take responsibility for changing it.
Several years ago, I found myself in this situation…I didn’t like working long hours for someone else, while someone else was raising my children. So I did something about it. I had a choice to change my situation...I choose to work from home so that I could raise my own children. I am in control of my Life, I took 100% responsibility for my life. You can to, it’s your choice.

Seven Simple Steps to Achieving Your Goals
Posted on April 28th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: M.A.D.E. (Make A Differen
There are seven simple steps you can follow to help you set and achieve your goals.
-
Clarify exactly what you want.Be specific. If you want to increase your income decide upon a specific amount rather that just “make more money”.
- Write it down. A goal that is not in writing is like smoke; it drifts away and disappears. It has no force, effect or power. Write it down and keep it in sight. Written goals become something that you can touch, read and modify if necessary, as situations change.
-
Set a deadline for your goal. Pick a reasonable time period and write down the pace upon which you want to achieve it. If it’s a big goal, set a final deadline and then set up sub-deadlines or interim steps between where you are today and where you want to be in the future.
A deadline serves as a forcing system. It’s a known fact, when you’re under pressure you get more done. Your subconscious mind works faster and more efficiently when you have clarified your goal and set a clear realistic deadline.
“There no unrealistic goals; there are only unrealistic deadlines.”
- Make a list of Everythingyou can think of that you could possibly do to achieve your goal.
“The Biggest goal can be accomplished if you break it down into enough small steps.” ~Henry Ford
-Make a list of obstacles and difficulties you have to overcome, both external and internal to achieve your goal.
-Make a list of additional knowledge or skills you will require to achieve your goal. If you need to learn how to blog, start searching and reading all you can find on “How to Blog”.
-Make a list of people whose cooperation and support you will require to achieve your goal. Will you need uninterrupted time from your spouse or kids so that you can focus on achieving your goals, then set a time for your uninterrupted time, it will help to be the same time every day.
-Make a list of every thing that you have to do, and add to this list as new tasks and responsibilities occur.
“The most common reason that people fail to achieve their goals is because they do not make new plans to replace old ones when the situation changes.” ~Napoleon Hill
- Organize the list by sequence and priorities. Determine what you need to do first and put them in sequence, first through last. Next determine what is priority, sometimes sequence and priority are the same, but often not.
- Take Action Immediately. The difference between winners and losers in life is simply that winners take the first step. They are action-oriented. They are willing to take action without a guarantee of success.
- Do Something Every Day. You must do something every day that moves you in the direction of your major goal. This is the key behavior that will guarantee your success. This will develop momentum, doing something every day.
Doing something every day will help you develop the discipline of setting and achieving your goals.
Action Step:
Take a clean sheet of paper, at the top write the word “Goals” and today’s date.
Write down ten goals. They can be financial goals, family goals, fitness goals, personal possessions goals (car, new home, swimming pool, etc.).
Now choose which goal would have the most change or will improve your life more than anything else. Whichever one you choose, put a circle around it and write it at the top of a clean sheet of paper. This goal becomes your focal point of your future activities.
From this point forward, “Failure is not an option”.
This decision alone can change your life.
Stay focused on achieving your goals and I’ll see you at the top!

Can Change Their Lives!
Accept People Exactly Where They Are...
One of the best ways to attract more people is to meet people where they really hurt. All of us face different challenges, whether physical, financial, emotional or spiritual...but none of us have to face those challenges alone. And when you take the time and personal interest to discover what is happening in people's lives, you may just find that you can offer them hope!
Take the time to ask the questions that really matter. As questions that people can react to and share your own challenges with them, because it's likely you may have driven that same road. You may want to focus on F.O.R.M.... asking questions about Family, Occupation, Recreation and Money, because those are often the areas which people want to improve.
When you know someone is hurting, it makes it easier to show them how you can help reduce that pain. So take the time to think about the people you meet...get to know them...understand the hurt they have in their lives and share your opportunity, because you may be able to Make a Difference in a way that no one else can!
I have an extraordinary opportunity, click on opportunity to learn more...it may be just what your looking for.

Show Your Joy as You Work Your Plan!
It takes consistent work and constant joy to travel down the path to success, and that's exactly how it should be. Working without having joy in what you do is pure drudgery. Pure joy without realizing that it often comes from hard work is immaturity. That's why it takes both in order to be successful.
You've often heard the saying "Set yourself on fire and people will come from miles away to see you burn". Well, that's what persistent work combined with true joy in your work is like...people see you as a person on fire with your dream that your hard work seems more like pure fun than anything else. Your attitude becomes contagious and influential as you make the most of your opportunity...and people always want to associate themselves with people that are alive with possibilities.
Remember that sucess is something you attract by the person you become.

The best way to reach the economic freedom you want...you must always keep your eyes on the right road. But even that road can twist and turn. Your Goals can be Extraordinary!
Set Your Goals to Stay the Course!
Do you realize the power that you have? At times while traveling along, you could think that your vehicle may not be big enough, fast enough, strong enough... you may even doubt yourself as a driver. But the truth is that you have unique skills that can lead you to reach your dreams, if you have one more thing... It is the perseverance to never, never, never QUIT.
One thing is true... if you quit before reaching your goal, you're guaranteed to never achieve it. How best do you continue to persevere? One way is to define your goals and write them down. Written goals are critical to your success because they are themselves part of your personal road map... they help you define your speed, your range, your vision and dreams.
Here is an amazing fact: Of the entire 1953 graduating class of Yale University, only 3% had clearly defined and written goals - twenty years later, that same 3% of the class had a net worth greater than the combined net worth of the entire 97% of the rest of the class. Do you have your GOALS clearly defined and written?
Unique Talent plus Extraordinary Perseverance WINS!
The Best Way to Get the Future You Want is to Create It!

It won't surprise you to learn that I'm not a proponent of the victim mentality. I believe strongly that the life you and I are living right now is the life we've created. It's based on the decisions and the choices we've made over the years. We're simply living with the consequences of those choices.
Peter Drucker said: "The best way to get the future we want is to create it." If you're genuinely interested in improving your current circumstances, start thinking of what you'll have to do to get the results you want. The reality is you're in charge of what you say and what you think. You decide what goes into your mind by the choices of what you watch, what you read and the people you associate with.
In order to be successful, or to improve performance and productivity in any area of life, all you need to do is act in ways that produce more of what you want. Life gives feedback. All we have to do is pay attention.
Don't like your work environment?
What did you do to create it?
What can you do to change it?
Not happy with your current physical condition?
What did you do to create it?
What can you do to change it?
Not happy with your relationship with ________ ?
What did you do to create it?
What can you do to change it?
Success and failure both leave clues. We can play the blame game all day long or we can accept the fact that the common denominator in our success or failure is US! Don't like your current reality? Pick up a mirror and meet the one person who can change it.

Destiny. What a powerful word. And the great thing about it? Everyone has one! You have a destiny! Another great thing about destiny? We have a significant role in shaping our own destiny! In essence, you can choose your date with destiny - powerful!
Your destiny is the dream that lies within you of your desired and preferred future. And the things that we choose each day are what lead us to that destiny: Our actions, our words, our attitudes, and our relationships. They all add up to develop and shape that date on which we will reach our destiny.
Here are some thoughts to think about as you work on shaping your Date with Destiny:
The Mental Question: Do you believe that you can achieve a life of abundance?
The frank truth is that many people simply do not believe that they can achieve what lies in their heart. Success is for someone else, a better person, or a smarter person. This is not true and is perhaps the greatest obstacle we face on the journey to our destiny. If we are to achieve the abundance in life we must first believe we can, or face our own continual self-sabotage of what a college professor of mine called "stinkin'-thinkin."
Here is the truth:
- It doesn't matter what your intelligence is.
- It doesn't matter what your current resources are.
- It doesn't matter what you currently earn.
- It doesn't matter what family you came from.
Nothing in your current circumstances matters in whether or not you can achieve your destiny! Nothing! Now, your current state may make it a longer or harder journey than someone else, but the possibility is always there no matter what your current circumstances are.
And that is the message we need to continually tell ourselves. "I can do it." Not "I can't do it."
Clear vision. Do you have one of your destiny? Here are some questions to determine whether or not your vision is clear.
-
Can you describe it in intricate detail?
-
Can you "see" it?
-
Can you "feel" it?
-
Can you "hear" it?
Here are a couple of illustrations.
Perhaps you came from a dysfunctional family and your dream is to have great moments with your family. Let's start with a Thanksgiving meal. Can you see each person there? What are they wearing? Are they smiling? What is the conversation? Can you hear the laughter? Can you experience the joy? Can you smell the turkey? Can you see people hugging each other and saying "This was wonderful," as they leave?
Another scenario: Your company. Can you see the large building you are in? Can you see the workers? Can you feel the positive attitude they have as they carry out their work? Can you experience the excitement as you get the quarterly results? Can you see yourself handing out healthy bonuses that bring pleasant surprises to your employees?
This is where it begins. A clear vision of your destiny.
Consider your resources. Are you aware of the resources you will need in order to set your date with destiny? Do you know how you will go about getting them? What are your natural gifts and talents that you have? How can you best utilize them in achieving your destiny?
What is your current level of resources?
- Money?
- Time?
- Emotional health?
- Help from others such as friends, family, employees or volunteers?
What will be your needed future level of resources? And have you developed a plan to achieve this level?
The last thing I would encourage you to do is fix a date in the future that you believe you could be living your destiny by. A real date. What this enables you to do is then begin to work backwards in setting goals to move you along the way, providing you with future points to strive for and an evaluation point to reflect upon.
Here are the points again:
- Answer the mental question: Do I really believe?
- Develop a clear vision.
- Consider the resources needed.
- Set a date with destiny.
- Develop a plan to get there.

I am your constant companion.
I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden.
I will push you onwards or drag you down to failure.
I am completely at your command.
Half the things you do might just as well be turned over to me and I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.
I am easily managed - you must merely be firm with me. Show me exactly how you want something done and after a few lessons I will do it automatically.

Happy Father's Day: Keep Your Personal & Professional Life in Balance

Here's a great reminder, in the days leading up to Father's Day, of where our priorities should be. It's by noted personal achievement expert and my friend, Denis Waitley. Enjoy!
Be Committed to Keeping Your Personal and Professional Life in Balance by Denis Waitley
It is so important to be living in prime time, rather than watching TV in prime time. On your way to success make certain you grow friendships, not just bank and mutual fund accounts. Life is a collection of memories, not of material things. The Egyptian pharaohs were buried with all their treasures, and were mummified in hopes that they could enjoy their bounty in the next life. But we are only caretakers of possessions. There is a big difference between standard of living and quality of life. Standard of living is based on income earned. Quality of life is the enjoyment of the millions of minutes in between accomplishments.
Having money is only one aspect of wealth. To the sick person, wealth is health. To the lonely person, wealth is someone to talk to and share with. To the estranged person, wealth is hearing words of love and forgiveness.
Borrowing the free verse style from Brother Jeremiah’s classic poem, I’d Pick More Daisies, here are a few things I’d do, the second time around.
I’d laugh at my misfortunes more. Spend more time counting my blessings than my blemishes. Spend more time playing with my children and grandchildren and less time watching performers in the arena. More time enjoying what I have, less time thinking about the things I don’t have. If I could live my life again, I’d walk in the rain more without an umbrella and listen less to weather reports. I’d spend more time looking at trees and climbing them, less time flipping through magazines made from dead trees. I’d spend more time fully involved in the present moment, less time remembering and anticipating. I’d smile more, frown less.
And most of all I’d be more spontaneous and active, less hesitant and subdued. When some spur of the moment idea came up to go hiking, playing Frisbee, coloring Easter eggs, singing in a chorus, going kayaking, or watching an eclipse, I’d be less likely to sit in my chair objecting, “It’s not in our plan.”
I’d be inclined to jump up and run out the door next time and say, “Yes, we can!” Although I can’t live my life again, I’m still going to live the new way every day any way. I’ll never have all the moments I’ve missed, but I do have all the time remaining.
Action Idea – Choose one activity this month that you really want to engage in, but that you have been putting off because it isn’t a priority. Schedule that activity in your planner, as if it were a “must do” business or financial commitment. When you have done it, while you are still feeling good, schedule one for next month, and do it as long as you live.

So, what is my point? While I was thinking about just how in depth the economy really is, I realized the impact that living our lives really has on the economy. Every possession that we have (other than found items i.e. artifacts, etc) was purchased. Every purchase was made from someone that probably did that for a living. For example, The jeans that you wear were sold at a store that employed people who also purchase goods and services for themselves and their family. The store purchased the jeans from a company that employs people who also purchase goods and services for themselves and their family. The company that manufactures the jeans purchased the material from another company that employs people who purchase goods and services for themselves and their family. And that is just the jeans! There is so much more! Every item that we wear, eat, consume and have, they all have a long history from raw material to the final product and the number of people involved in that history is a huge factor in the economy. Think about the person that planted the cotton (had the equipment/clothes/etc necessary to do it), harvested the cotton, sold it to the market, cotton was stored, sold, utilized (how many people/businesses have handled it so far?), made into jeans (by how many people/machines (whole other process)), sold by them, shipped (all the people/equipment to transport), unloaded, placed on shelves, eventually purchased by you and someone was paid to ring up the sale. That blows my mind!!! Just a pair of jeans and there was a huge amount of business that went on there. Now figure everything else (clothes, food, household goods/services, etc, etc, etc)!! This is daily, by the second!!! There is money out there to be made!!!
The depth of the economy is far greater than what I had ever taken the time to realize. We all contribute to the economy at a depth that it impacts many individual lives and families at an incredible level. What does that have to do with you? I hope that this helps you realize the complexity of the economy and just how much money is available to be made. It really doesn't matter what you do, just do it better than anyone else. Whatever your preference, you CAN make it happen. We will probably not jump from the little guy to the guru over night, but with small steps, we can make it better for ourselves and our children.

Whether you have failed at making money online or you are simply looking for a way to make an honest income from the internet this information is worth the time to check out.
As a former banker who went through a buyout I knew I deserved more from life. I spend over a year using a marketing system that was simply not giving me the results I needed. I have the mindset and the drive but I was being led down the wrong path. Now I learned from some people that I trust how to take my time and energy and use it more effectly to make the money I desire to have an honest and ethical home business that produces results.
I share this information as a way to help others succeed in these difficult times.

Fine work until the day you die!

I got a brother who just told me a month ago he will have to work until the day he dies. He is a banker and his wife is a teacher. How sad that they will both have to work until the day of their deaths. No retirement is something that I would not accept in my life. My brother still thinks I am nuts for my sticking it out in in my online business.
Its simply I refuse to let society and government tell me that I am going to have to work my fanny off and lost it all to downsizing, not retire or end up sick like my Dad and not be able to enjoy retirement.
Think twice about society and government and think about the life you know you deserve. Take the time to do what it takes to give yourself the life you know you deserve. I work as much or as little as I want each day. I took a day off last week and shared that information with a waitress at a resturant. You know the look she gave me was like HUH! I simply told her this is how I WANT MY LIFE and she replied "must be nice". I did give her a nice tip. The real tip was the idea I was trying to get into her head but she never did get it.
I help people in my business. I help share ideas. If I can help just one person today to realize that they do not have to go punch a clock or listen to their self serving boss enother day, then I am doing my part to help. There are a lot of people who are not making it with a normal job. Even two jobs. Time to wake up to the new way of living and start living each day for yourself and the ones you love.
No matter what your values and what your beliefs we all need to take the time to enjoy life to the fullest. This is what life is supposed to be all about.
Enjoy life every day.

This Week's Jumpstart
An early Happy 4th of July wish to all of my U.S. readers! And for those around the world, I wish you freedom. When you look up the word freedom in the dictionary, you'll find many definitions, but the one I like best says: The capacity to exercise choice; free will.
What's your definition of freedom? Time freedom, financial freedom? Isn't it interesting, though, that in order for you to experience or gain freedom you must sacrifice something? Perhaps I should frame it another way, with other words -- discipline or choice. Jim Rohn says discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. So let me ask you... What results have you accomplished and are you satisfied with your results?
If so, congratulations! If not, what simple disciplines or "choices" can you make that will make a world of difference in your accomplishments?
That's something to think about this week. But don't just stop at thinking! Act! You have the ability and the skills to create more freedom for whatever it is you want in your life!

"A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd." ~ James Crook
Great Commentary:
I love quotes that are counter-intuitive because many times "counter-intuitive" is what works best in this world. This is especially true in leadership. If you think about it, there are only two options in life: Go with the crowd or against it. Those who will lead in this life must often start against the crowd and lead forcefully until the crowd sees the results and changes their direction. If you just go with the crowd, you are just part of the crowd. Even if you are going with the crowd but out in front of the crowd, that doesn't mean you are leading. It just means you are faster than the rest of the crowd! That means you're just better at being average - and that isn't what you want your life to be!
Action Point:
Think about your life. Are you going with the crowd or against it? Are you willing to lead by turning your back on the crowd? Take a step today to differentiate yourself from the crowd - and begin your journey toward success and leadership!

Demise of The American Dream?
Posted on July 5th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: About This Blog
Some may think that The American Dream is gone. I have been part of discussions on this very subject and I actually agreed that the dream is no longer within reach.
Then I laid in bed this morning and I had to correct my own thinking. Yes, with the demise of GM, Chrysler, and other big names in addition to corporate takeovers and downsizing it is getting pretty rough to go out and find a job. I am a personal witness to having my job cut as well as seeing first hand how friends around this country have lost jobs, lost homes as well as have to struggle for food.
Lets take a look at our basic freedom as Americans. We have the right to start a business and we don't even have to go get permission first. That said, once you get the right mindset and plan of action there is no real excuse for not being able to live The American Dream. I just happen to be building a business and the only tools I use are a $300.00 computer and a business plan I found online.
Sometimes you have to rely on faith to get past a bad situation and I am no exception. I lost a nice paying job that I had for 18 years. I lost a home I purchased for cash because the cost of the homeowners insurance got out of hand in relation to my debt ratio. I have had the cars and the toys. I have seen my father who is a retired bank president loose all his savings because of the recent drop of the stock market due to the financial industries mismanagement.
You can take a bow and live a lower level of life and adjust or rise above it and do something to start reliving The American Dream. I was doing the latter and I never really even took the time to acknowledge what I was doing. I was fighting to run a successfull small business with a mindset this is so hard to make work. Until this morning when i realized that I have more then what so many people do not have in this country. I have the security of a job where I am in control and I have no one but myself to blame if I end up without a job.
Take the time to look at who you are and why you are in this world. Look at your future and see how bright it looks. If you do not like what you see then its time to make a change and do what it takes to provide for yourself and those you love. I am part of a group of people who are in the business of sharing ideas. These ideas are to help others succeed. I invite you to look at this system and be part of this group who has not only helped me on a personal level of success, but also on a level of thinking as those who succeed think.
May God bless you in all you do. Now go live The American Dream.

An Excellent Work at Home Opportunity -- Infinite Leverage System
Let's face it; all of us who have spent half of our lives working from nine to five would like to find out more about a system, any system with which we can earn money legally, and in a methodical manner. There are so many scams out there, so the moment something real turns up; we are confronted with our minds giving us the red signal. "Stop, look, and then don't proceed!". We find ourselves walking away from an opportunity which would have made us more prosperous than what we are now.
First of all one has to understand that any business opportunity telling us that it can make $25,000 overnight is a rip off and scam. Infinite Leverage System is definitely not a rip off or scam, because it is methodical and is based upon systematic and well thought out principles. It fits these six criteria, which one has to look at and analyze before he joins any business opportunity on the Internet.
Does Infinite Leverage System have a real product which is of a high value to the consumer and client? Does it offer some information or a business opportunity which can bring long-term business which is profitable to the end-user? The market out there can be very competitive, so is the product up to the mark to survive in such an atmosphere? If there is no product, the business opportunity is a pyramid scheme, which is illegal and trying to grow upon your reputation. A scam is going to be made up of a company promising you how to earn money overnight, without any fitting product to base their business structure upon. That is why you have to be very careful about the difference between a scam and a real business opportunity.
Every good business is going to pay you immediately the moment you start making sales. Infinite Leverage System does this, so that you are even more motivated to keep up the promotion of your business instead of resting on your laurels in the shape of a couple of dollars. Infinite Leverage System pays out commissions every week!
A business which has an effective advertising source, which incidentally Infinite Leverage System has, is quite a good opportunity for you to advertise efficiently and effectively in a number of ways. That essentially means that you your business is getting an excellent response as well as giving you return. Infinite Leverage System gives you the opportunity to get more money by sharing its moneymaking sources with you. The business opportunities and sources which you get, need to be exploited to the best of your ability and energy! Infinite Leverage System is also going to provide you with the right tools for marketing, so that an exponential increase in daily sales can be seen and registered by you. Remember that marketing means sending out advertisements and following up with clients, which Infinite Leverage System does for you. Get them interested in the services and the products which you are selling. That is the easiest way to make up a client network. Infinite Leverage System is going to help you do this with their training programs and any information; you need, whenever you need it.

How did the wealthy people become wealthy? I’m sure that some probably had money handed down to them through their families or were bred for a great career in the family business. Still there are many “entrepreneurs” that had an idea, a vision that there was a product or service that had not yet been offered or developed. They then had to take a chance and a risk, they had to invest time, money and energy into that product or service’s birth without the guarantee that success would be the end result. They truly had a lot at stake and I’m sure that many of them put everything they had on the line for what they believed in. I’m sure that they did not all succeed on the first try, it probably took several failures or they overcame some problems along the way, but they kept getting back up and trying again because they truly believed in their idea. I believe that the wealthy people deserve to be wealthy for that reason. They did not give up when times became difficult, they forged ahead with the same drive and desire they had when they started, when it was just an idea. What are you going to do? How will you make it happen?
Recently, we were driving through a suburb of Des Moines during rush hour. Des Moines is not a big city compared to many, but while we were driving down the interstate I noticed all of the traffic that was backed up, extending to the interstate. I noticed the many people just sitting there and I thought about many things. How much money was being spent at that very moment? There were probably several hundred cars in my field of vision going in all different directions. All of those vehicles had or needed probably $20-$40 worth of gas, many probably needed some sort of repair or service done to them (oil changes, tires etc.) and many of those people were probably going to be spending money later that evening at ball games, restaurants, shopping and other goods and services. I thought about all of the items in those vehicles, the cell phones, CD’s, DVD’s, soda’s, coffees, GPS systems, emergency items and the other things that we all have in our vehicles. Then I thought about them eventually getting home, to all of the goods that they possess and the services that they purchase to live in today’s society (The point to all this, and YES, I do have one, will be explained in further detail in my next blog). At that moment, I realized how much money really is involved in our economy and that life is going to go on whether we can afford it or not. So, what are you going to do? How will you make it happen?
Think about these same thoughts where you live. Think about all of the individuals and families in your town or city and what products and services are purchased and used on a daily basis. Every home, every vehicle, every person contributes to the economy in some way. Some contribute in very big ways and others contribute in smaller ways, but they all contribute. Many people and businesses are profiting off of what these individuals and families spend, whether it’s on groceries, gas, car payments, car insurance, CD’s, DVD’s and the list goes on and on. Think about your own contributions to the economy. You probably have a house payment or rent, possibly a vehicle payment(s) and the expenses that go with that including insurance, maintenance, fuel and other services, food for yourself and your family, the satellite or cable TV, electric, water, credit cards, the list seems endless! You already contribute to the economy more than you may realize. Now think about how you can make that economy work for you and help you enjoy life even more than you already are!
It really is a great big world out there! There is a lot of money available to earn! What is it that you want? I read once that you bring about what you think about. If you are struggling financially, you probably think about that constantly and, you guessed it, you bring about further financial struggles. Are you tired of that struggle?
What are you going to do? How are you going to make it happen? If you are tired of thinking about your financial struggles and you are ready to take action, either enter your basic information for the free offer that is included on this page or click on the banner ad below. I just saved a bunch of money on my auto insurnace...I sold the car

You got it right. 3 months after I moved here to California I made a decision that I would not own a car again until I moved from this state. Why you ask?
Well since the state of California decided to suspend my registration for non proof of insurnace which happened to be wrong. I made a decision to beat the system.
I did all the required hoop jumping to show I had insurance on my vehicle and they still insisted that I did not have the insurance. So how I handled the situation was I sold the car. Yes, I was grinning big that day.
Now I save on the cost of insurance. I do not care what gas cost. I do not have to worry about my car being stolen or broken in and I no longer have to deal with those lovely birds and bugs doing a number on my car finish.
I walk a lot now. I see things I never saw when I was driving my car. I have noticed buildings and plants that I never noticed driving by in my neighborhood. I talk to more people and I say hi and share love with more people.
I am thankful I made a decision to work from home because if I still had a J O B I would still need that car. I anjoy life and try to keep it simple. Some time look at how much you waste on gas going here and there when indeed maybe you could just walk and start seeing the world through a different view.
Enjoy life every day.

Seven Simple Steps to Achieving Your Goals
Posted on April 28th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: Make a Difference
There are seven simple steps you can follow to help you set and achieve your goals.
-
Clarify exactly what you want. Be specific.
“There no unrealistic goals; there are only unrealistic deadlines.” -
Make a list of Everything you can think of that you could possibly do to achieve your goal.
“The most common reason that people fail to achieve their goals is because they do not make new plans to replace old ones when the situation changes.” ~Napoleon Hill author of Think and Grow Rich -
Organize the list by sequence and priorities. Determine what you need to do first and put them in sequence, first through last. Next determine what is priority, sometimes sequence and priority are the same, but often not.
-
Take Action Immediately. The difference between winners and losers in life is simply that winners take the first step. They are action-oriented. They are willing to take action without a guarantee of success.
-
Do Something Every Day.

How Do You Measure Success?
Posted on July 1st, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: Make a Difference
Quality of life, in America today, is often measured by the amount of money you make. Success is defined by the kind of car you drive. By the neighborhood you live in. By the toys you own. After all, he who dies with the most toys wins. True or false?
Life was difficult before remote controls and automatic door locks. Skiing was so boring before the new shape skis hit the market. Fishing without a carbon-fiber rod was next to impossible. And the best part of life today is that big-screen plasma HDTV, the one with the universal remote that controls everything. It's the best escape devised yet from an otherwise dull evening.
In contrast, the people of the remote Himalayan country of Bhutan were recently rated as having the poorest quality of life of all but one other country in the world --- after all, their average annual per capita income is only $500. Ironically, however, when you visit the country, there are no beggars, only beautiful, snow-capped peaks, virgin forests, and clean air. The crime rate is extremely low, no one is in a hurry, and there is a strong sense of community. You might almost think that instead of depending on their belongings to entertain them, they've learned to enhance their lives by building relationships with each other.
Be careful to avoid the trap of, "the more you buy, the more you need". Because oftentimes then the more we think we need, the more unhappy we are with what we have. So this year, before buying those new golf clubs, stop and think. Will that $1,000 bring you more happiness through a bag of irons, compared to a few days off with your family, or as a donation to an organization, or a person who is trying to make a difference. It's your choice. It's how you measure it.
So this week count your blessings instead of your possessions. Spend more time with those you love, instead of spending more money on things you lack.

This blog is about going the distance by “getting your head” in the game. It’s too easy to set goals and then watch them never materialize. Why? Because we simply aren’t committed … our head, heart and actions are not in alignment.
I’m a runner and here’s what I know about running. I can wear the best shoes and running apparel. I can be consistent with my nutrition. However, if my head is not in the game, my performance stinks. So, I have learned over time that before I take that first step to take a few minutes to visualize my run for the day. I can see the route; I know the exact location of every hill, straight away and curve. I can visualize my body moving, breathing and taking in the smells of the countryside. I do this to achieve peak performance. And it works!
So, if it works for running why not apply visualization to all aspects of your life? To go the distance I have found there must be an alignment of your head, heart and actions.
If you don’t have the alignment, you might can go the distance, the HARD way. There will be a struggle with every step.
I’m not into creating more work for me to do. I’m into simplifying my life. Getting my head in the game and being totally committed to what I choose to do makes the difference.

Success is Easy, But So Is Neglect
Posted on July 8th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: Make a Difference
by Jim Rohn
People often ask me how I became successful in that six-year period of time while many of the people I knew did not. The answer is simple: The things I found to be easy to do, they found to be easy not to do. I found it easy to set the goals that could change my life. They found it easy not to. I found it easy to read the books that could affect my thinking and my ideas. They found that easy not to. I found it easy to attend the classes and the seminars, and to get around other successful people. They said it probably really wouldn't matter. If I had to sum it up, I would say what I found to be easy to do, they found to be easy not to do. Six years later, I'm a millionaire and they are all still blaming the economy, the government, and company policies, yet they neglected to do the basic, easy things.
In fact, the primary reason most people are not doing as well as they could and should, can be summed up in a single word: neglect.
It is not the lack of money - banks are full of money. It is not the lack of opportunity - America, and much of the free World, continues to offer the most unprecedented and abundant opportunities in the last six thousand years of recorded history. It is not the lack of books – libraries are full of books – and they are free! It is not the schools – the classrooms are full of good teachers. We have plenty of ministers, leaders, counselors and advisors.
Everything we would ever need to become rich and powerful and sophisticated is within our reach. The major reason that so few take advantage of all that we have is simply neglect.
Neglect is like an infection. Left unchecked it will spread throughout our entire system of disciplines and eventually lead to a complete breakdown of a potentially joy-filled and prosperous human life.
Not doing the things we know we should do causes us to feel guilty and guilt leads to an erosion of self-confidence. As our self-confidence diminishes, so does the level of our activity. And as our activity diminishes, our results inevitably decline. And as our results suffer, our attitude begins to weaken. And as our attitude begins the slow shift from positive to negative, our self-confidence diminishes even more... and on and on it goes.
So my suggestion is that when giving the choice of "easy to" and "easy not to" that you do not neglect to do the simple, basic, "easy"; but potentially life-changing activities and disciplines.

If you could have what it is that you think about and dream about, but you had to earn it, not just have it given to you, what would it take to make it happen? Most everyone, my dad is the exception (he could win the lottery and he might possibly buy a new golf club, but I'm not even sure about that), wants something better for themselves and their families. Most of those wants involve more money for a bigger, better home, new cars, kids' college funds, clothes, vacations and the list goes on and on. I believe that it is achievable! Do you? I have been caught up in the "some day it will happen" mode. As I have explained in some other blogs, there is plenty of money out there to be made. How can you get your share of that money. You will probably have to do something differently. You already know that, no matter how much or how little money that you earn, you spend it!! Most of us could cut costs and save ourselves some expenses and bills but we feel that we are entitled, or that we deserve whatever it is that we spend our money on, I know that I do. What will motivate you to take a step, a leap of faith that there is more out there for you? There are thousands of millionaires out there, if not millions. Not all of them started out with money. Aren't those the best stories? The ones that had nothing, had lost everything and yet now they're millionaires, or even more? Do you believe that you can be one of them?
I have heard, and I believe, that making the money is not the hard part, the hard part is changing your attitude about having what you want. You have to change your mindset & believe that you are worth it and that you are capable. There are many books and media available for your personal education on this topic. It all starts in your mind, you have to believe in yourself and clear your thoughts as to what it is that you want. The hardest part is to get rid of the "demons" that haunt you and tell you that you are living the life that you were meant to live, that you were not meant to have what you really want and that you were meant to work your life away only to earn enough money to pay your bills and buy essential items. You must clear your mind of that and good things will happen. You bring about what you think about! Every time that a negative thought comes into your head, you take a step backwards. You must clear your mind of those thoughts. It will be difficult for most because those thoughts have always been reality. Can you change the way you think? I think that you can and if you really want to, I know that you can!!
Another secret is that money is not evil!! That is difficult for some people to understand. Wealthy people give more to charities in this country than many people earn in a year. Wealthy people are not evil, some evil people are wealthy. Don't be confused by that! Part of the secret of earning money is that you have to give back in any way that you want and you must give for the right reasons, because it's what you believe in and because you truly want to give. I can't explain it, when you give and you donate, you feel better about yourself and you receive in return, it just works that way. Give it a try!!
What motivates you? What will you do to change your current financial situation? Will you write down what it is that you really want for your family and yourself? Write down what you want and believe that there is a way. It is very possible that you can afford to pay for your own, or your kids' college education. It is very possible that you can pay off your debt or buy that dream home that you want or anything else it is that you desire. It will take a new way of thinking and confidence that you are worth it. In many cases it will require you to venture into unfamiliar territory, but if you really are clear about what it is that you want for you and your family, that will be an easy step.
What are you going to do? How are you going to make it happen? Start With Saying I love You
Posted on July 16th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: About This Blog
Yes Folks That's right,
Start by saying I love you, I love you, I love you ....................
If you spent your entire day and every day for a week repeating those 3 words over and over again in your mind your life will become more successful overnight.
Take a walk today for 15 minutes and say I love you to EVERY SINGLE PERSON YOU ENCOUNTER --- I can hear you now you are thinking the person that wrote this is absolutely bonkers ---------- Yea right -- I'm sure I am going to say I love You to everyone I encounter. ---
I will give you a break do it silently in your mind --- however just do it.
When you are at the grocery store checkout stand ---- Say I love you to the clerk
When you are at the gas station pumping gas --- silently look AT EVERYONE --- DON'T ELIMINATE ANYONE --- NO QUALIFYING --- silently say I Love You to everyone you see at the gas station.
When you are talking to someone on the phone ---- no matter who it is say I Love You over and over in your mind as you are listening.
This is your mantra for the next week -------------- I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU ................ non stop.
Say it to the birds, the bees, the dogs, the ants, the spiders and your food and water.
Of course to your family and friends -- the dearest ones in your life -- please do say it out loud.
Here's an experiment --- if you have an unruly child -- look them in the eye and softly say I Love You over and over and over again for at least a minute. Or whisper it in their ear --- not just one or 2 times ----- at least 30
Leave nothing or no one out ------------ I GUARANTEE YOU THAT YOUR LIFE WILL BE MORE SUCCESSFUL BY THE END OF THE 7 DAYS!!!!
Your Mantra is I LOVE YOU --- to the person that cuts you off on the freeway, to the annoying dog across the street, to the rowdy kids down the block ---- say I love You, I love You, I love you ............... This goes for everyone of you
I don't care if you are a hardened criminal, a pompous twit, a street person or a self made millionaire with an attitude ................. if you want more of anything in life start spreading love.
If you don't feel like you have any love to spread --- believe you me you do --- you are a love machine ---------- you are overflowing with love --- that is what our pristine self is made out of.
Look at any brand new baby - a pristine new baby ----- every cell in their being is love and nothing has changed --- you are still that baby and you are still made out of love.
It is a really a weird concept and believe me when I really contemplated love and what it is it was an incredibly mind expanding concept.
The first day of my epihany about love I did exactly what I described above and have been doing it ever since --- it has been quite a transformation for me.
Take notice of how you are feeling right now; mentally, physically, emotionally, spirtually -------- Now go take a 15 minute walk and mentally say I Love You over and over again to everyone and everything you encounter and then take notice again at the end of the 15 minutes ------------ how's it going now? Do this with focus and intention!
Say I love You to each and every part of your body too; especially any aches or pains you pain have --- if your arthritis hurts --- say I Love You to your painful hands and fingers --- I Love You pain, I love You fingers, I love You toes, I Love You fat hips, I Love You bald head, I Love You zits, I love you fat knees, I love you flat chest, I love you pot belly ....................
You are only limited by your imagination ---- please do this for 7 days --- it is truly astonishing!

I think that our forefathers were genius! To have the forethought to see the future of America and to create and author a document capable of lasting over 233 years. We are currently unable to agree on issues to last from 1 legislative/congressional session to the next.
I think that athletes and coaches deserve the money that they make! The athletes draw the fans and the fans idolize them. That makes the owners investment in the athlete's salary a wise decision.
I think that ALL people, every one of them, should be responsible for their own actions! If you can't do the time......don't do the crime! Why is it that almost 100% of the criminals caught for serious crimes in this country plead not guilty? I understand and respect the 5th amendment, but geesh, are the police that bad that they NEVER get the right guy? I don't think so!!!
I think that not all politicians are bad! Not much different than any other profession.
I think that not all politicians are good! Not much different than any other profession.
I think that abortion is wrong!!! Unless it's incest or rape, then I think that it should be the woman's choice. See the "responsible for their own actions" entry! And the responsible part goes for the woman AND the man! It takes 2!
I think that the death penalty is too good for the criminal! I could get very opinionated here, but I'll leave it at that!!
I think that legal immigration is good!
I think that 9-11 was a horrible day for the USA that was comparable to 12-7-41, the attacks on Pearl Harbor!
I think that Pete Rose should be in the National Baseball Hall of Fame (he has taken responsibility for his actions)!
I think that the coincidences between the deaths of Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy are incredible!
I think that I am lucky for having grown up in the 70's & having only 4 channels and "Pong" was my 1st video game!
I think that I should have worked harder at my baseball skills!
I think that the United States Military and their families are heroes!
I think that it's time to go to bed!

An Excellent Work at Home Opportunity -- Mr. X Cash Flow System
Mr. X Cash Flow System is definitely not a rip off or scam, because it is methodical and is based upon systematic and well thought out principles. It fits these six criteria, which one has to look at and analyze before he joins any business opportunity on the Internet.
Does Mr. X Cash Flow System have a real product which is of a high value to the consumer and client? Does it offer some information or a business opportunity which can bring long-term business which is profitable to the end-user? The market out there can be very competitive, so is the product up to the mark to survive in such an atmosphere? If there is no product, the business opportunity is a pyramid scheme, which is illegal and trying to grow upon your reputation. A scam is going to be made up of a company promising you how to earn money overnight, without any fitting product to base their business structure upon. That is why you have to be very careful about the difference between a scam and a real business opportunity.
Every good business is going to pay you immediately the moment you start making sales. Mr. X Cash Flow System does this, so that you are even more motivated to keep up the promotion of your business instead of resting on your laurels in the shape of a couple of dollars. Mr. X Cash Flow System pays out commissions every week!
A business which has an effective advertising source, which incidentally Mr. X Cash Flow System has, is quite a good opportunity for you to advertise efficiently and effectively in a number of ways.
