Well, after a wonderful day of wondering if my laptop was going to be able to handle its first cup of coffee, I was amazed that it only took 24 hours for the effects of the coffee on the laptop to sub side.
Let me explain what happened.
My family has a routine every morning when my little boy, JC, wakes up from his sleep to watch a mind movie that we have created. A mind movie is a visual movie, like a vision board, to help keep you focused on your end results.
Well yesterday morning, I could not say no to my boy as he repeatedly kept saying, MY MIND MOVIE, which means play it again daddy :-)
On the 4th play, he spots my cup of coffee near by, I was not aware that he was eyeing the coffee and not the movie. Well, you know what happened next, like a bolt of lightening, he grabbed for it, got it, and pulled it to him (over the laptop) needless to say, he was talented enough to grab and pour in one motion, right on the keys and heart of the laptop-the famous blue screen instantly appeared, so I was on vacation yesterday looking for a laptop :-)
I sleep with a fan (white noise) so I decided to place the coffee drinking laptop in front of the fan all night and presto like magic, it is working this morning ;-)
Thank goodness as I have a ton of work on this unit. Any way, junior is waking up, until later.

Review of Global Resorts Network membership

I personally bought then used this membership. Then I knew it firsthand so I was able to know what I was talking about before I became an affiliate. I personally find most of the stuff you see when you Google GRN to be a bunch of bull trying to lead others to their own travel site. This said, if you have Champaign taste and a beer budget for travel, this membership is worth a look. You buy a lifetime membership for $2995 and then you have unlimited vacations between $298 and $798. Those vacations are one week long on most instances and you get a quick reply when you put in for the location and dates requested. You also get a preferred discount on airfare and car rental. You don't see this on the website but this membership is now offering many of the top cruise lines at rates I could not believe I was seeing. I personally do not enjoy cruise thus I have not tested this portion of the membership. For luxury travel around the globe I would say if you get tired of searching the online discount travel venues, then this membership is a way to get those same discount rates from one place you can trust to give you the best rates without all the legwork. I did have one bad experience with this membership. I booked a resort that simply was not up to my standards. The room was rundown. The room was not soundproof. The whole resort was just not being kept up. I talked to the GRN support team and they made sure that resort was removed from the registry of resorts. I was impressed. They could do nothing about my stay and I did in fact leave early. But how many resort memberships can you say you actually have control to get a resort removed from the registry? All in all I am very content with the $2995 I spend on this membership. The cost was paid for in the savings during my first vacation.

What makes this world better

I share love. Yesterday I met a man who shared my former banking background. He inherited money so money is no longer an issue for him.
This man was a former prostitute. Yes, you read correct.
I shared love and my past as I saw into the man as just a man who is trying to do what it takes to get through this life.
For those who have it more together, I have decided to spend the rest of my life sharing different ideas for income creation in a less traditional way.
Share love and enjoy life every day.

Balance Your Workload with a Generous Number of Mini-Vacations for Maximum Productivity

by Denis Waitley
By re-energizing and renewing yourself frequently, you will avoid burnout and become much more motivated and productive. Don’t keep your nose to the grindstone for years and wait for retirement to travel. Balance and consistency are the keys. Enjoy the process, not just the result. Don’t fight the passing of time. Don’t fear it, squander it, or try to hide from it under a superficial cosmetic veil of fads and indulgences. Life and time go together. Do enjoy each phase of life. Do make the most of each day, and draw maximum joy from each moment.
Many people today are concerned with quality time – time generally defined in part as that spent on recreation, personal pursuits, time with children, spouses and friends. While I certainly believe quality time is important, I believe two other aspects of time are equally important.
First, one must also spend quantity time. The average father spends less than 30 minutes each week in direct one-on-one communication with each of his children. How can we possibly expect good family relationships with so little communication?
Second, one must spend regular time. Many supervisors and company presidents go for weeks, even months, without seeing many of their employees. There’s no substitute for regular meetings and open forums in which managers and team members can share ideas.
Time has a dual structure. On one hand, we live our daily routines meeting present contingencies as they arise. On the other hand, our most ambitious goals and desires need time so that they can be assembled and cemented. A long-term goal connects pieces of time into one block. These blocks can be imagined and projected into the future as we do when we set goals for ourselves. Or, these blocks of time can be created in retrospect as we do when we look back at what we’ve accomplished.
It’s not in the image of our big dreams that we run the risk of losing our focus and motivation. It’s the drudgery and routine of our daily lives that present the greatest danger to our hopes for achievement. Good time management means that you maximize the daily return on the energy and mental effort you expend.
Ways to maximize your time productivity:
• Write down in one place all the important contacts you have and all of your goals and priorities. Make a back up copy, preferably on CD, DVD or Zip disc. Write down every commitment you make at the time you make it.
• Stop wasting the first hour of your workday. Having the chat and first cup of coffee, reading the paper, and socializing are the three costliest opening exercises that lower productivity.
• Do one thing well at a time. It takes time to start and stop work on each activity. Stay with a task until it is completed.
• Don’t open unimportant mail. More than a fourth of the mail you receive can be tossed before you open or read it, and that includes e-mail.
• Handle each piece of paper only once and never more than twice. Don’t set aside anything without taking action. Carry work, reading material, audiotapes and your laptop computer with you everywhere you go. Convert down time into uplink time.
• Spend twenty minutes at the beginning of each week and ten minutes at the beginning of each day planning your to do list.
• Set aside personal relaxation time during the day. Don’t work during lunch. It’s neither noble nor nutritional to skip important energy input and stress-relieving time. Throughout the day, ask yourself, “What’s the best use of my time right now?” As the day grows short, focus on projects you can least afford to leave undone.
• And as we said at the beginning of this message, take vacations often, mini-vacations of two or three days, and leave your work at home. The harder you work, the more you need to balance your exercise and leisure time.
Action Idea: Plan a relaxing 3-day vacation within the next three months without taking any business work with you. Reserve it on your calendar this week.

Don't tell me you cant take a vacation

I listen to more and more people use the word staycation and I just want to scream. You can do things around town any weekend or day off. Why on earth would you want to spend your hard earned vacation time in your own home or in the area you live?
I personally bought a membership in Global Resorts Network when I did not have the money to be spending on a luxury resort membership. Thus, I had to wait to use my membership until I had the money to use it. The sad part is to use your GRN membership usually costs between $299 and $699 per week stay. Sad that I was so strapped for cash that I could not take advantage of such deals.
I finally did get to use the membership and I am glad I bought it. Now the cost is covered in savings and I have a membership to use for the rest of my life.
To those who think they don't have the money for the membership just think how much luxury vacation you can get for $2995 and then thing again about how that money can get you the discount on luxury resorts that you will not find anywhere else.
Take the time to do the math and figure how you are worth all the best life has to offer. You will see a membership in GRN is worth the cost.
Live life to the fullest every day.

The magnetic power of smiling is more profitable
Posted on July 30th, 2009 by Sandi Renteria
posted under: Profitablehome-biz
Have you ever noticed how the word "smile" assumes the position of a smile on your face right after it has been pronounced? The same is true with a grin or a grouch. Much of the words in the English language or perhaps in other languages of the world assume the facial expressions of the person pronouncing them. Perhaps this is how words came into existence.
What kind of difference can a smile make? In spite of its simplicity and spontaneity, a smile can make all the difference in the world. It creates an atmosphere of friendliness and peace.
Admittedly, a frown can likewise create an atmosphere. The question now is this: "Which is more preferable?" An atmosphere of dissent brought about by frowning can bring conflict and unfriendliness, while a smile can create unity and camaraderie.
A smile is contagious and profitable. When you project a smile, the other person can't help but smile back at you. Throw a smile to a baby, and there's a big chance the baby will smile back at you.
Because of your smile, a baby starts to be playful with you even if you are a stranger to him. When a baby starts to be playful, you just can't resist playing with him. Then he begins to laugh and giggle. You make the baby happy; you make yourself happy too. And to think all this started with a simple smile. A smile can erase or diminish pain, especially emotional and psychological pain.
If you want to make a good impression, smiling is your best option. You can sport all the expensive material on your body you want. You may even be rich and famous and more profitable. But if you sport a sour face, you'll get the same treatment in return, as sour as vinegar. Those in public offices should take this very seriously if they want to relate well with their clients.
A smile is worth more than words. A smile is a universal language expressed in the form of a gesture that greets and welcomes other people. When someone smiles at you, especially at a time you least expect it, you feel happier and you return the favor. This is best expressed during vacation periods.
Of course, vacations are a time and season of smiles. But it's also a time you can get too busy attending parties and shopping, so much so that you get so tired you feel you can't smile anymore. However, when you come across somebody who smiles at you despite your weariness, you still can't help but smile back.
Try walking into a shop where a frown from the owner awaits you. Before you know it, you are heading back to the door where you came from. It's as if your legs have a mind of their own. This is the reason why it's important that sales people (if you are in the sales business) wear smiles on their faces all the time. This is the best way to attract more customers.
A smile has no monetary value yet it's priceless. No amount of money can buy you one. It's given away for free. You neither have to beg, steal, or borrow it. A smile comes naturally from the heart, resulting in harmony at home and prosperious for business. A smile binds and maintains friendship. Without smiles, any friendship is unimaginable.
"But how can you smile when you are overwhelmed with problems of the heart, health, finances, and peace of mind?" Yes, it's difficult; but does sulking help? Will a frown take away the pain and rid the problems that keep pushing you down with more problems, illness, poverty, and a confused mind? The answer is obvious. Without a shadow of a doubt, a smile will clear the clouds and bring a little sunshine to your life.
A smile is like a jewel worn on the face. It is the gateway to your personality. Wear a smile every minute and hour of the day, and you won't need anything else.
So keep on smiling and make someone happy!
