When you first look at a network marketing opportunity most people are struck by the money that can be made. They get all excited and decide to start but they soon find out that there is more to it than just making money.
Every network marketing opportunity if done correctly is a chance to have a home based business that will eventually yield financial freedom. This happens over a period of time if you work the business.
The Key To Business is Lead Generation
Many businesses will tell you that they are successful because they know how to generate leads. Leads are easier to use than cold calling because if you find the ones that are already looking for an opportunity, you have less to do.
Some people purchase leads through Goggle and others have great systems for generating them. The more leads you have the more people you talk to and the more people will join your organization.
You must understand that generating leads is just one part of the process. You will also have to talk to people and know what to say to them when you call them to follow up on the lead.
The Key To Business is People
People do not like to be sold anything by a stranger. Because of this the way to get solid leads is to build a rapport first. By talking to people and letting them get to know you, you become someone they can trust. Once you have their trust you can find out what they need and see if you can fill the need.
Many people in network marketing make the mistake of trying to tell someone everything they could ever want to know about a business and more. The trick is to tell them a little and if they genuinely seem interested, you put them on with someone who knows more than you.
There are people in any network marketing business who have been in for a very long time. These people know the intricacies of talking to people and can help you with your calls.
When you start talking to people and they decide they want to join you in your business by creating their own business, it is very important to continue to talk to them. People have different learning curves and often the best producer will be someone who others will give up on.

Can You Make It In Network Marketing If You Are Not a People Person?

This is a tough one because network marketing is about people. It is about talking to people who have an interest in a home based business opportunity and helping them see one that works for them.
Most people would say that you have to at least like people of you are going to be in network marketing. The reason for this is because you will be talking to hundreds of people over time. The good news is that if you find people who are already interested in an opportunity you don't have to talk them into anything.
Networking to Success
If you have ever gone to a networking event on or offline, you will know that it can be awkward. You don't know the individual and you are not sure what to say. You will meet people who are very friendly and they put you at ease. These are the people who are very successful because they have learned how to make people feel at ease with them right away.
If you totally do not like people you probably will not make it in network marketing. However, if you are willing to learn how to talk with people so that you can develop rapport easily, you will have no problem working within network marketing.
Lead Generation Helps Success
Most people do not have a strong method of lead generation. They think that they have to talk to their friends and family who usually are not interested in anything but going to work everyday. Those people who are the most successful in network marketing spend their time talking to people who are currently seeking opportunities.
Granted some people are only interested in looking but there are a few people who will be willing to take a chance on your opportunity if they see it as something that will benefit them. Your job is not to convince them but to show them the opportunity and help them use it to resolve a problem they need to resolve.
You do not have to be a people person to be successful in network marketing but it does help. You will need people to help carry the message about your opportunity to others and you will need to be able to talk to many people about how you can help them.

Can You Make it In Network Marketing If you Are Not a Sales Person?

The myth of network marketing is that you have to sell products in order to make it work. Although there are many sales people in network marketing and there are people who sell it like it is a product, network marketing isn't about selling.
Network marketing is about building rapport with people and helping them resolve a problem. For many people a network marketing opportunity will help them get to financial freedom. For others it will help them make a comfortable living. If done well, an individual can be very successful.
Selling and Network Marketing
Many people would say that selling is the most important aspects of network marketing and in some cases this is true but there are two aspects of an opportunity that you must take a look at to see what you need to do.
On the one hand there is a product that can be sold. People can sell vitamins, travel, soap, natural drinks and more. These products are available for sale but most people do not sell them. Instead, they show people how their product can benefit them and can help them save money.
On the other hand there is a business opportunity. Many people try to make people jump into their business by pushing them to buy the beginning kit and getting involved. Those who are successful talk to people about the opportunity and wait for it to create a spark within the prospect.
Selling should have nothing to do with network marketing if you are able to build the rapport with people and present an opportunity that they can see as something they need.
I Don't Know Enough People
No one knows the many people who will be interested in a network marketing opportunity. If they did money would be made a lot faster. However, there are hundreds of ways to generate leads and the best ways tap into people who are all-day looking for an opportunity.
Lead generation is one of the many criticisms that people have with network marketing but it does not have to be difficult. There is a system that you can use that will generate more leads than you can imagine. This system allows you to talk to only people who are already looking for an opportunity so you do not have to sell anything.

The Advantages of Working for Yourself from Home

There are a lot of people who will tell you that working from home is not the utopian situation most people think it to be. And that’s true enough. But being self employed (as opposed to telecommuting) and working from a home office has its advantages. What is important is to recognize them for what they are and then maximize them.
First of all is the time saved on the daily commute to office. Even with a conservative estimate of one hour of travel each way, that’s two hours a day you are gaining for yourself. And since you are you own boss, you can use it how you want. Just be careful not to let the time slip through your hands. One good idea is to designate some daily tasks that you MUST complete in the one extra hour of the morning. Depending on your work load and how much you want to take on, there’s nothing wrong in using some of the time saved on yourself to relax and being able to function better the rest of the day.
Saving on commuting also means saving on transportation costs. Depending on your other transport needs, you may even be able to do without a car. Either way, you can save hundreds of dollars every month. Work out the amount of your savings on transport and make sure that at least half of it is actually saved in the bank. As in the time you save, you can spend part of the money on yourself. After all, it’s your money and whom are you working for anyway?
One of the biggest problems of going out to work everyday is that you soon get tired of eating the food you carry from home and start eating out. That’s not just expensive but also not so good for your health. Now you’re working from home, not only is the temptation to eat out removed, but perhaps you could use some of the time you are saving on commuting to make nice healthy lunches for yourself? Another way you save by working from home is the less you are out around town, the less temptation there is to be lured by an attractive display window into buying things you don’t really need.
Obviously when you are self employed, all the profits of your work come to you. With the direct relation between the effort and the income, you will be motivated to be as productive as you can be and hopefully, end up making a lot of money for yourself.
A home office means that you won’t be wasting time on water cooler gossip and all the other negatives of the formal office environment. Not only does this save you time, you won’t get distracted by the non essentials involving other people and will be able to devote all your energies into making your business a success.
And finally, there is one huge advantage of working from home that cannot be measured in time or money. And that’s being able to devote more time to your family. Of course, family should not distract you from your work, but being self employed means that you have the freedom to schedule your work to ensure family priorities are not ignored.
Sure being self employed and working from home can be very tough, demanding and at times very stressful .But if you appreciate the advantages you will have for what they are and not take them for granted, you will find that working from home can be extremely fulfilling.

There have been many “ceilings” in the past pertaining to women. A lot has changed in the last couple of years. Consider these facts based on reports by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Center for Women’s Business Research in 2003:
· Women-owned businesses are growing at twice the rate of all U.S. firms
· One in every 11 adult women owns a business
· Women entrepreneurs generate nearly $2.3 trillion in revenues to the U.S. economy
· More than 18 million workers are employed by a woman business owner
With a successful team and business comes freedom. With freedom comes quality of life. And, with quality of life comes the opportunity to make a difference and leave a legacy.

I grew up in a middle class family, my father was a dairyman and my mother was an accountant for a wholesale grocery warehouse, I was average in high school. I attended college briefly, I worked a little country store close to my home, then attended trade school and got a real estate license.
In the beginning I was living paycheck to paycheck and living way above my means. I really did not know whether I was cut out to be a real estate agent or not… I did not know everything there was to know about real estate. I figured out shortly that I really didn’t have to be an expert on real estate, all I needed to do is get people infront of other real estate experts until I became an expert. And, I know that I could do that.
Twelve years later, I was saying goodbye to the real estate industry and saying hello to becoming a full-time entrepreneur. The reason I was able to “fire my boss” so soon, was I found myself in an environment that started changing my belief level. I started associating myself with people that were successful entrepreneurs and reading lots of inspiration and self-development books.
